The Board of Management are delighted to be in a position to develop the sensory garden adjacent to the school. This has been a long road and we are fortunate to have received funding through the Clár programme. This funding does dictate certain criteria. At a joint meeting of Oola NS Board of Management and Oola NS Parents Council it was agreed to run one large fundraiser. The BOM/PC will run a Buy-a-Brick campaign to support some of the additional cost of the project. This sensory garden is a fantastic resource for the school. All funds raised will go directly into the sensory garden.

We are hoping that the brick wall will form a legacy on display in the school. The brick will cost €100 for a single brick or €180 for a double brick and will be displayed in the school. The school hasn't held a large fundraiser in a number of years and we would really appreciate your support. Of course families could join up to buy a brick together or make a separate donation. Payments may be made in cheque or online via a fundraising page.

We will launch the Buy-a-Brick fundraiser on Tuesday 15th March at 2.20 and you're all invited to this short launch. The fundraiser details can be seen on our website and twitter and we appeal to the wider community and diaspora to support our School.

Dear Parent/Guardian,

It has been 5 long years since our school was fortunate enough to secure ‘the plot’ at the back of the school.

We are very fortunate to have secured Clár funding to the value of 18,000 euro for this exciting new venture. The Clár funding stipulates the use of the area.

However, there is a shortfall in the amount received in the grant and the actual costings on the project. We are all delighted to see progress and look forward to all our children benefiting from this new enhanced learning area.
